The CFO Dots

The story

Every finance team is a set of dots.

People. Tasks. Systems. Numbers. When they connect, the month closes calmly. When they don't, someone spends the weekend chasing.

The four dots

Look at any finance function and you will find the same four things.

People
Tasks
Systems
Numbers

Where the dots break

Most late closes are not caused by hard accounting. They come from small gaps between the dots. For example:

  • A task is finished, but nobody tells the person who is waiting for it.
  • A number changes after a report has gone out.
  • Two systems disagree and nobody knows which one is right.

Connecting them

An agent watches the dots all day. It tracks tasks, reminds owners, flags what does not match, and sends a short summary each morning. People still make the decisions and approve the work.

Why a CPA builds it

I'm Manoj Solanki. I have spent more than 14 years in accounting, starting in Big Four public accounting and working in Pakistan, Oman, the UAE, the USA and Canada. The same gaps appear in every country and every company. I build agents for the repeating parts so that finance teams can spend their time on judgment.
